El 03 de Julio

Hi everyone I would like to tell you about my day here in Heredia, Costa Rica. Today I woke up at 6am without an alarm...that never happens. I got up brushed my teeth washed my face and then went into my room (in my host families home) and turned on the tv. On channel 12 here it is the music channel and I enjoy listening to their music every morning while I get ready for the day. I went down for a breakfast of eggs with ham, toast and cheese accompanied with orange juice although usually my host mom makes me tea. My host aunt makes a great breakfast! At around 7:40am my roommate and I began walking towards la U Latina which is the university where we have been spending our time studying here in CR. Usually we have to meet in front of the university gates but today we had to meet on the other side in front of the “Paseo de Flores” which is a mall. We crossed the big yellow bridge to get on the other side and waited for our personal drive Jose. We all (got on the bus) and headed towards downtown San José. We were dropped off at the National Theatre of Costa Rica. We had a small tour of the theatre with a guide... It was very beautiful and had many distinct art and sculptures from many places of Europe. After this, we were able to walk around the plaza outside of the theatre and I took many pictures with my Polaroid camera that I adore, also I got a strawberry banana and yogurt smoothie from my favorite yogurt shop here called “MOYO”. We all walked around a bit and then mounted onto the bus. We were dropped off in front of the university 2 hours before class began and I took advantage of that time to begin writing my script for a project we have to do for class while listening to music with a few of my classmates. In class we  a new topic called “Pluscuamperfecto”, I have learned it before but it was a bit difficult then and it is still difficult now... after school I went home and met my host families mother and she was very nice. We spent the night playing games and listening to music and just enjoying each other’s company. My name is Fabiola and I am truly blessed to be in this beautiful country and am grateful for the people who allowed me into their home.. my experience here has been amazing and I will never forget it. Chao! 🇨🇷❤
